Bircher-style sultana and apple oats

Gloriously creamy yet low in calories, this bircher-style bowl of oats is truly satisfying. If you don't like cinnamon, try spicing up your breakfast with nutmeg or ginger instead.

Prep Time 5 min, plus overnight soaking

  • 40g gluten-free oats
  • 200g skimmed milk
  • 15g sultanas
  • 80g apple, grated
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, to serve


  1. Put the oats and sultanas in a bowl or jar. Add the milk and allow to soak overnight.
  2. In the morning, stir in the grated apple and a pinch of cinnamon then serve.
