Classic muesli

  • 225g rolled oats 
  • 30g almonds, chopped 
  • 30g walnuts, chopped 
  • 30g sesame seeds 
  • 30g sunflower seeds 
  • 100g raisins 
  • 100g dried cranberries 
  • 100g dried apricots, chopped
  • 2tsp ground cinnamon (optional)


  1. Combine all the ingredients and store in an airtight jar for up to one month.

TIP  Serve topped with a couple of spoonfuls of low-fat natural yogurt and your favourite fresh fruit.

  1. Have made this muesli dozens of times. Very easy to “rustle” up, tastes great and healthy for
    the family. I change the ingredients around a bit, when I run out of the original nuts etc. Still tastes
    good whatever substitutes are used. Dried Figs and dates are yummy!
