- 80g jumbo oats
- 50g dried dates, chopped
- 20g walnuts, chopped
- 1 banana, sliced
- Put the oats, dates and walnuts in a medium pan with 570ml water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 6–7 min, stirring now and then. Remove from the heat and stand for 1 min.
- Divide the porridge between 2 bowls, then serve topped with the banana slices.
