Clementine crush

  • 8 cloves 1 clementine (unpeeled), cut into 6 wedges
  • 1tsp sliced fresh ginger
  • 300ml clementine juice
  • Crushed ice


    1. Put 4 cloves, 4 wedges of clementine and the ginger slices into a cocktail shaker and crush with a muddler or rolling pin. Add the juice and a handful of ice.
    2. Half-fill 2 glasses with more ice. Strain the shaker between the glasses, then stud the remaining 2 clementine wedges with 2 cloves each and add to the glasses to serve.

Make it a cocktail: Add 2 measures gin or orange liqueur to the cocktail shaker.
